How does Hypnosis work Your mind is made up of two parts, the conscious, and the sub-conscious. The conscious part of your mind is there to make day to day decisions. The way we behave or respond in a certain manner, is mainly down to the conscious decisions we are constantly making. The sub-conscious mind does not make decisions, It merely responds to the way It has been programmed. Good or bad you may quite often find yourself engaged in some form of behavior that you were not initially aware of in your conscious state. The aim of the Clinical Hypnotherapist is to tap into the sub-conscious part of your mind, and make gentle changes to unwanted behaviors, or to implant required behaviors, to effect positive change.
